I'm driven by a passion for poetry that is intensely personal, wildly imaginative, and always brimming with intellectual curiosity. I explore themes of identity, frustration, and yearning - cut with diamond-sharp precision, dark intensity, and a dose of absurdism. I also love to mix characters, dreamlike scenarios, and emotional terrains that exist outside conventional reality. Cause duh. Fiction >>>>

I hope my readers feel seen, maybe a little challenged, and awakened by my work! And, most importantly, accept my work as a reminder that (restating this, because it's important) unapologetic self expression is totally, 100% free!! At their core, my poems are mirrors for the eclipsed self, and those mirrors can bloom into entire universe when touched by even the faintest whisper.

Most of my work is rooted in free verse, allowing each piece to unfold with its own unique rhythm and voice. The language breathes on its own. No constraints! Though I do love a good rhyme or two, especially when the mood is blue or the skies paint a strange hue.

Bonus: I am an INFP 4w5 (469) who is endlessly fascinated by personality typology, psychology, RPGs, animation, philosophy, storytelling (clearly), reading, and absolutely anything that sparks curiosity and resonance.

Creative process

I'll be real, I am scatterbrained (and emotional) as ALL HELL!!! Inspiration hits from every direction. I move instinctively, tracing symbols, reading between the lines, and translating emotion into metaphor. There is inherent poeticism in everything, and I mean everything! Even string cheese wrappers. I kid you not. 

I transform each ache, grin, and everything in between into something raw, something true, until it is, without a doubt, beautiful. Each day, I work to shake off the mental shackles and write with reckless abandon. Still, it is a PROCESS, and seldom ever a graceful one. Sometimes, I'll be wading through my emotions and think: "DAMN! I'm kind of toxic sometimes." Maybe just a smidge. But instead of flinching from it, I realize it is fertile ground for a new poem! And wow, is it cathartic. I milk that catharsis all day, every day, to fuel some of my most profound, meaningful pieces of all.
